| Plastic Bearings Thermoplastic bearings are designed for use in particularly harsh environments. Usually manufactured from Acetal, a widely used engineering plastic which is dimensionally stable when subjected to a range of loads, chemicals and temperature fluctuations with excellent fatigue resistance and low moisture absorbtion. Stainless steel balls provide excellent corrosion resistance withstanding acidic environments including sulphuric and nitric acid, photography chemicals, bleach and solvents.
