6806 LLU MAX Enduro Bike Bearing 30x42x7

Enduro Max Bearings Specification:

Maximum quantity of Grade 10 Chromium Steel Balls:
MAX bearings are filled completely with high precision Grade 10 balls for maximum load capacity. No retainer means these bearings have 35 percent more capacity. The balls must be filled by hand, through a precision slot ground into the inner and outer race.

52100 High Carbon Chromium Alloy Races:
Purest alloy steel with the toughness like no other. MAX bearings use CRC Marine Grease, will not wash out or break down under any extreme circumstances. Even salt water will not penetrate or break it down.

LLU Seals:
Two sealing lips on each seal, which ride in a matching groove on the inner race to make a labyrinth seal. The outer sealing lip repels dirt/water while the inner retains grease. These seals essentially form a “hydromatic seal” of grease when in operation, the grease forming a barrier in the groove.

Put them into my cyclocross bike where I change the bearings a few times in the season as they get quite wet, they arrived very prompt and fit perfect, they are in the bike 2 weeks and running well, ill more than likely change them again at the end of the season another 2 weeks.

I’ve not got round to fitting these bearings yet in the bottom bracket of my Specialized Fatboy as I managed to revive the old ones again for another month but on the face of it they seem to be really good quality and well sealed only time will tell how well they last compared tor the poorly sealed poorly greased originals.

Have not fitted them yet. However they look a much better quality then the ones I fitted last time. Survice and delivery was spot on.

very good bearing, smooth and no play at all, the outer diameter measured 0.03mm undersize though

Bicycle bottom bracket bearings.

These bearings were purchased for a Cannondale BB30 bottom bracket. They were reasonably priced and considerably cheaper than the ones offered by my local cycle dealer and have the advantage of being fully specified; the cycle shop[s] seem reluctant to be able to provide this information so one is never quite sure what is being purchased.I chose a standard delivery [£1.50] and they arrived within two days.

Before assembly I prised the grease seal from the race, as they are in my experience rarely well lubricated, to see that they were greased with what looked like a marine grease, which of course is good and is precisely what I use on all BB bearings on all of my bikes. I did add a little extra before fitting to the bike.
