Thrust Bearings

Thrust Bearings are designed to carry purely axial loads. Single direction thrust bearings consists of loose top and bottom bearing plates or washers with a ball or roller cage in between. Double direction thrust bearings consist of three washers and two ball or roller cages arranged alternately. Typical applications include vertical shafts and crane hooks.
